Your photos reminded me a lot about our trip to Thailand last year, been to that Karen tribe and they even invited us inside their house, which was really exciting because they are living with no electricity, and they enjoyed simple life pleasures like candles all around and the sound of a hand-made guitar…

    Guys, great photos!

The only thing, which bothers me since I’ve been to Thailand, is that most photographers don’t shoot the “negative” side of things… which builds an unrealistic picture of a destination. Honestly, to me the Thai smiles were faker than anywhere else in the world ๐Ÿ™ The smile is just a must for Buddhists, so I felt quite “cheated” when I realised how un-sincere those smiles were…

Sorry, had to get this off my chest ๐Ÿ™‚

But again, your photos are simply stunning! Keep up the good work ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cheers, N.

No worries, I can understand that perfectly! And thank you so much for the photos!
To be fair we only had very positive experiences in Thailand (I think the most notorious one was when our motorbike broke in the middle of nowhere and a Thai police officer took his entire day off to help us get it fix, took us around, got us food, etc… he could have been relaxing at home but he met us and simply wanted to help) which, I guess, explains why most of our photos might reflect this situation.
We know live in a country we love (China) that, unlike Thailand, gets a really bad reputation from people travelling there and can see how difficult it is to fight a preconceived image of a country!
